Bible Studies

Bible studies are a way we learn more about GOD, HIS Word, and HIS will for HIS creation. Bible studies are important because they allow people of all levels of familiarity with GOD's Word to learn more about Him. Whether you are a lifelong student of the Word or you are just beginning to search for GOD, a Bible study helps to bring understanding of the Word of GOD. In a Bible study, we strive to teach the Word of GOD accurately to bring understanding. In Acts chapter 8:27-35, Philip encounters an Ethiopian reading Isaiah the prophet. Philip asked the Ethiopian if he understood what he was reading. The Ethiopian answered, "How can I, unless someone guides (teaches) me?" Philip then taught Jesus to him beginning with the scripture he was reading in Isaiah. Philip's teaching brought understanding to the Ethiopian. The teaching of GOD's Word is precious to the LORD when it is taught accurately. The majority of Jesus' earthly ministry was spent teaching. Teaching brings understanding, and understanding of the Word of GOD is a solid foundation upon which a life lived for the LORD is built.
